Mint Global Marketing: Well, pretty much is it the celebrity endorsement of the modern world. Influencers are people with many followers on social media.
These can include celebrities, popular Youtubers, professional gamers, or just people that other people find interesting. Influencer marketing involves reaching out to these influencers and having them advertise your product.
What’s the main advantage of influencer marketing? How does it compare to other forms of digital marketing?
Mint Global Marketing: It is a much more targeted strategy. If you know your market well and can learn who the major influencers are, then implementing influencer marketing will give you a direct line to your customers.
You will be having someone they trust telling them, you know, “hey, this product is awesome.” That’s invaluable. It gets your name out there and increases your legitimacy because your customers will think, “if it’s good enough for the influencer, it’s good enough for me.”
Mint Global Marketing: Well, that’s one of the downsides. Not all influencers are professionals. There are no standards or guidelines to get each hand promotion differently.
The best way to find an influencer is to pay attention, research your market, and learn who the influencers are. Then talk to each of them, find one that seems professional, and try them out. If you find a good one, work with them long-term and build a good relationship.

Mint Global Marketing: We like to do commission-based payments partially with our influencers unless they have a history we can look at. So, for many businesses, we will give the influencer some kind of promo code, and we gauge the success of our campaign on how many customers use that code.
Of course, it’s only fair to pay the influencer no matter what, but also encourage them by offering extra based on how many customers they bring in. Seasoned influencers will have data to show from previous campaigns with other companies, and we are willing to pay the extra premium for them when it’s viable.
