Like Knicks’ Steve Novak and Carmelo Anthony, former Magic teammates, J.J. Redick and Jason Richardson held an NCAA tournament bet. Without naming the specifics of the bet, loser was to rep the other’s alma mater and post it on Twitter. Richardson was the obvious loser when he posted a photo of himself wearing a Duke sweatshirt, sweatpants and hat with the caption “A Spartan always pay his/her debt!” which prompted retweets and laughs from Redick. After his public humiliation, Richardson, the former Michigan State Spartan, posted one last photo of the clothes on fire, adding “But I bleed GREEN! Time to go wash this nasty blue off.”

J.J. Redick made his Bucks debut Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks at BMO Harris Bradley Center. The seven-year-veteran received a warm welcome from the crowd.
