Joakim Noah put on another memorable performance for the Chicago Bulls in what he called a “special” win, 95-88, over the Miami Heat on Sunday, posting 20 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks. At one point in the fourth quarter, he garnered “MVP” chants from the crowd. When asked what it meant to him postgame, he was disapproving and explained why he in fact doesn’t like it at all.
“I don’t like it. No, I don’t like it. Our MVP is not playing. We have one MVP, and that’s Derrick Rose. And, it’s not about MVPs, it’s about rings, and one day I hope that we can get one here.”
