Taj Gibson says the Bulls are comparing their roller-coaster season to the movie “Major League.” In the film, the fictional Cleveland Indians have a purposely horrible team constructed by the owner who wants to relocate the franchise to Miami, but the team with their “us vs. them” mentality finds a way to win games.
According to Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago:
“We understand it’s kind of like the movie ‘Major League,’” Gibson said. “We’ve got that mentality where we believe in the locker room. We believe in what we think. And we’re taking it one game at a time and we’re trying to get those wins hopefully to see … get a good nice poster at the end of the year.”
