Mario Chalmers Suspended One Game For Flagrant 2 Foul On Dirk Nowitzki (Video)

The NBA announced Saturday that Heat guard, Mario Chalmers, has been suspended one game for his Flagrant 2 foul on Dirk Nowitzki during Friday’s Miami-Dallas game.

Chalmers was ejected during the fourth quarter after he was fighting through a screen and appeared to hit Mavs’ Dirk Nowitzki with an inadvertent forearm/elbow to the face.

The suspension will cost Chalmers $36,000, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

Inadvertent? Looked to me like he put a little extra effort into that elbow…after all Dirk’s jaw is way above Chalmer’s head, yet he managed to connect a pretty solid blow.
