Report: John Wall Agrees To 5-Year, $80 Million Contract Extension With Wizards

According to Michael Lee of the Washington Post, John Wall has officially signed a 5-year, $80 million contract extension with the Washington Wizards. The 22-year-old point guard has averaged 16.9 points, 8 assists and 4.4 rebounds in three seasons with the Wizards.

John Wall, the foundation of the Washington Wizards’ rebuilding efforts for the past three years, has signed a five-year contract extension worth approximately $80 million, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. The deal will kick in at the start of the 2014-15 season and keep the point guard with the Wizards through 2019.
