Steve Nash Hosts Annual Charity Soccer Game In NYC

Steve Nash hosted his annual Steve Nash Foundation Showdown soccer match Wednesday night in New York City at the Sara D. Roosevelt Park aimed to raise money for children affected by poverty, illness, abuse and/or neglect. A bunch of professional athletes showed their support by taking part in the game including Joakim Noah and Marco Belinelli of the Bulls, Thierry Henry of the New York Red Bulls and more.

The players were split into two teams, US vs. World – and for the first time, Nash did not win, succumbing to the US 9-7. Joakim Noah was named MVP.
