The Chicago Bulls (20th pick) and Cleveland Cavaliers (19th pick) have reportedly offered their 1st round picks to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Thomas Robinson. Should the Bulls get the forward who was last year’s No. 5 pick, they intend to use him in an additional deal.
The Rockets are trying to move Robinson to clear more cap space in order to offer Dwight Howard a max contract in free agency.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com:
Thomas Robinson to Cavs for No. 19 pick. Thomas Robinson to Bulls for No. 20. Word is both of those scenarios are on table for Rockets.
Follow-up trade rumble: Bulls intend to flip Thomas Robinson in subsequent (or connected) deal if they take him from Rockets for No. 20 pick
