Brooklyn Nets head coach, Jason Kidd, threw out the ceremonial first pitch Wednesday night prior to the Yankees-Dodgers game at Yankee Stadium. Kidd walked out to the mound with his youngest son, Chance, and threw a strike to Yankees catcher, Austin Romine.
According to ESPN:
Jason Kidd doesn’t remember if his first ceremonial first pitch, thrown in 2002, was a strike…His second one most definitely was.
On Wednesday night, the Brooklyn Nets coach threw a strike from the top of the Yankee Stadium mound to Yankees catcher Austin Romine.
“There’s a lot of pressure,” Kidd said before throwing the pitch. “I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefully I don’t bounce it up there.”
