Joe Johnson Says He’s A Decoy For Nets Playing With Injured Foot

Prior to Game 6, a must win for the Nets to stay alive, Joe Johnson said he’s a decoy on the court for the Nets as he battles plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

According to Newsday:

“Late in games, I try to do what I can do to get us over the hump. I just have to play through it and gut it out . . . It’s kind of like I’m out there on one leg now. I’m a decoy, a spot-up shooter. I’m the bailout guy if you can’t find a shot.”
