David Lee Done For Season After Suffering Hip Injury

According to Ken Berger of CBS Sports, Warriors’ David Lee tore his right hip flexor and is done for the season. An MRI revealed he suffered a Grade 3 tear. Lee went down early in the fourth quarter of Game 1 in Denver after he drove to the basket, was fouled by JaVale McGee, and landed awkwardly. After writhing in pain and grabbing his right thigh, Lee was able to knock down two free throws but was then forced to leave his first career playoff game as it appeared he couldn’t even walk on his own. The All-Star forward averaged 18.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season.
