The Atlanta Hawks announced Saturday that center, Zaza Pachulia, will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a sore Achilles. The injury, suffered on January 21st, has held the nine-year-veteran out of 21 games.
According to Chris Vivlamore, Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
Pachulia, plagued by a sore right Achilles for two months, will undergo a surgical procedure and miss the remainder of the year. The center and fan favorite, who spent the past eight seasons with the Hawks, is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent.
