Spencer Hawes was heavily booed during Sunday’s game in Sacramento because of his public comments regarding the Kings move to Seattle. Hawes, a Seattle native, wants a team in his hometown, and Kings fans showed their disapproval by letting the Sixers’ center hear it every time he stepped onto the court.

“I won’t make any qualms about where I stand,” Hawes said. “I want to see my hometown get a franchise. There is some confliction but I’m not going to beat around the bush about what my stance is.”
When you say what you say, you deserve it. That’s my guy though. I know Spencer, he doesn’t hold his tongue on anything, and he had a pretty good game too.
What a win. Thanks to the great fans in Sac, especially the ones booing me all night!
