Nuggets Incredible Comeback Against Sixers To Win 14th Straight

The Nuggets’ franchise record 13-game winning streak appeared to be coming to an end when the Sixers went up by eight with two minutes remaining in Thursday night’s game at Pepsi Center, but Corey Brewer wouldn’t let that happen. Scoring a career-high 29 points off of the bench, Brewer drained a three-pointer with ten seconds remaining to bring Denver within two, and then on the very next play was fouled by Damien Wilkins on a potential game-winning three-pointer. With a chance to win the game at the line, Brewer knocked down all three free throws to keep the Nuggets’ streak alive at 14 games and improve to 31-3 at home.
