The Knicks’ injury woes continue to pile up. On Tuesday the Knicks announced that they will be without Kurt Thomas (foot) and Tyson Chandler (neck) for some time. An MRI revealed a small bulging disc in Tyson Chandler’s neck and he is expected to miss 1 week, and Thomas will miss more time with a stress reaction/stress fracture in his right foot.
According to Alex Raskin, NJ.com:
Tyson Chandler has a small bulging disc in his neck, an MRI revealed, and will miss about a week. His primary replacement, Kurt Thomas, has an acute stress reaction around a chronic stress fracture in his navicular bone. He is expected to miss anywhere from two to four weeks.
Obviously, there is a chance that these injuries will take more than a few weeks to heal.
