Kyrie Irving will miss his second straight game tonight when the Cavs host the Raptors due to a hyperextended right knee. The All-Star point guard, averaging 23.3 points and 5.6 assists per game, missed Tuesday night’s game in Chicago but his team was able to pull of the 101-98 road victory.
According to Jodie Valade, The Plain Dealer:
Kyrie Irving will miss tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors because of a sore/hyperextended right knee..Irving suffered the injury last week in practice when he banged knees with a teammate. He played games in Orlando and Miami while complaining of soreness, and finally sat against the Bulls.
