After competing in his first All-Star game representing the Indiana Pacers, Paul George wanted to show his appreciation to the nearly 200 behind-the-scenes Pacers employees that have contributed to his success on and off the court. In addition to an autographed All-Star edition poster on every desk at Pacers Sports & Entertainment, George left them a letter providing his thanks and free tickets to a game later this month. Not too shabby!
Excerpt of George’s letter, via Pacers.com:
I know that you make sacrifices in your personal life to make it possible for my teammates and me to do what we do every game night. Believe me, I notice all that you do.
On the flight from Houston to Indianapolis, I had a thought and wanted to show my thanks to the employees in some way. So here it is: The Ticket Sales staff is going to load four tickets in your account for the game against Golden State on February 26. But if you know me, I wanted to make sure to put the “PG” twist on it. So, as part of the #PaulStar Surprise, ten random PS&E employees will receive their tickets in the courtside location. Plus, those same employees will get to come down after shoot-around on February 26 for a photo with me on the Main Court. To find out if you’re one of the ten lucky fans, check your online account after 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
