The New York Knicks have traded Ronnie Brewer to the Oklahoma City Thunder, first reported by OKC beat writer Darnell Mayberry. In an effort to clear a roster spot, for a future signing, the Knicks will receive a 2014 second-round pick from the Thunder.
In 46 games with the Knicks, 34 of them starts, Ronnie Brewer averaged 3.6 points on 36% shooting, 2.2 rebound & 0.9 assists. Thought of as a off-season steal after being let go by Chicago, Brewer fell out of the Knicks rotation in early January, and hasn’t played more than 10 minutes in a game since 1/13.
