With the uncertainty surrounding the health of Rasheed Wallace and Marcus Camby, the Knicks have been looking for front court help. Trading Ronnie Brewer to the Thunder opened up a roster spot, allowing the Knicks to sign 12-year-veteran, Kenyon Martin, to a 10-day contract, according to Yahoo! Sports.
After spending part of last season playing in the Chinese Basketball Association, Martin signed with the Clippers, where he averaged 5.2 points and 4.3 rebounds (22.4 minutes) in 42 games. He’s previously played with Jason Kidd on the New Jersey Nets, and Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith, and Marcus Camby on the Denver Nuggets.
