Russell Westbrook threw quite the temper tantrum after being benched by Scott Brooks in the third quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Grizzlies. Royce Young of the Daily Thunder reports that Westbrook was benched after a heated exchanged between him and Thabo Sefolosha after he was called for a 5-second backdown violation.

Its not surprising. Pro athletes get coddled by coaches, recruiters, AAU teams, scouts. Can you blame them for being arrogant? They’ve been told by a bunch of yes men their whole life that they are God’s gift to basketball. Plus add millions of dollars into the mix, and you have a spoiled self entitled baby, that thinks he can do whatever he wants.
