Kevin Durant paid special tribute to the tragedy that took place in Newtown, CT this morning, acknowledging his support and prayers by writing ”Newtown CT” on his shoes that he wore during Friday night’s game vs. the Kings. The Thunder star also took to Twitter this afternoon to send out his prayers to the families affected by the shooting, and after the game spoke on his tribute sneakers: “It was the least I could do man … that hit me real hard.”
