J.R. Smith Hits Game Winner vs. Bobcats

Carmelo Anthony was forced to leave the Knicks-Bobcats game Wednesday in the final minutes after he dove into the crowd for a loose ball and lacerated his finger. Someone would have to step up for the Knicks who had one final possession with 3 seconds left and the game tied at 98. J.R. Smith, who was 6-16 on the night, forced himself into a difficult fadeaway jumper, but despite good defense from rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, the Knicks guard was able to knock it down:

    It takes alot of confidence to knock down a last second shot after shooting 6 for 16 throughout. This is a good sign fot the team.
